We are so very proud of Dave for being recognised by the Cornwall Youth Football League as their Coach of the Week.
"Dave had stepped forwards at the end of last season to form a new U10 team this season at Falmouth Community Youth FC.
During the summer he completed his Introduction to Coaching course and signed up for 2 more courses.
He has fully embraced the positive and respectful approach into all his players from the start, managed to get all the parents support.
He has prepared for the team for the season with new 'player of the match' trophies, written match reports, managed to get all the parents involved with various tasks / referee, kit washing, baking cakes. He has their full support and encouragement and everyone is so excited for their first season.
It is not easy starting at U10 when other teams are quite experienced already. But this has not hindered Daves drive and enthusiasm for developing the team.
Despite losing this weekend, the players were all buzzing as they had learnt new skills from training that they could apply into their match."
