Our much loved Club Chairperson Janine, has been recognised by Cornwall FA for all the hard work she does for our club. She was chosen from a long list of nominations and awarded the Cornwall FA's 2020 Grassroots Football Administrator of the Year!
Dawn Aberdeen, Chief Executive of Cornwall FA, said: “The sheer number of nominations across all categories this year was fantastic and highlights the incredible work going on in Cornish football. We are fortunate to have so many amazing people and organisations driving football forward. I would like to thank everyone who took the time to submit a nomination, making the job of the judging panel so difficult. We have some extremely worthy winners who can be very proud of their awards – so congratulations to you all.”
Janine was presented with the award by Richard Pallot, Cornwall FA Governance Manager, outside our new clubhouse. She was delighted for the club to be recognised and said, "I am so honoured to be presented with this award. I accept it on behalf of everyone in our community club who work so hard to make it successful. We have grown as a club in the last 5 years from 1 team to 13 teams. This is mainly because of the dedication of an incredible committee, team of coaches, children and parents who are the foundations of our community. I am so proud to be a part of this very special team!!"
