Congratulations to Henry Houghton in being our first community champion. Henry is 8 years old and has been part of community football for a couple of years. He has grown in confidence and football ability significantly over the last few months. He has overcome many barriers to progress from training with U5/6 to his own age group U9 within the last few months.
His coaches have said “he has slotted in so well with our U9 community sessions.. he gets stuck in and mixes well with others. He always arrives with a beaming smile and takes everything he learns to his game. He thoroughly deserves this award”.
