Falmouth Community Youth FC

Welcome to Falmouth Community Youth FC

Falmouth Community Youth Football Club coaches young people from the ages of 5 to 16. It provides a friendly and supportive environment that enables the children to thrive and build their football and teamwork skills. It has grown enormously since its foundation in 2016 — the club currently has over 500 children as members with around 80 coaches and parent helpers, and is a registered Community Amateur Sports Club.

The club

Our History

Community football on Saturday mornings started over 35 years ago on Tregenver field under the expert coaching of Arno Canale. It started as a youth development programme for Falmouth Town FC.

When Arno retired from coaching in 2016, a new committee was formed and the club became a charter standard community club called Falmouth Community Youth Football Club. Part of that standard is to ensure that all training is undertaken by FA qualified coaches, and that all people connected with the club or who come into contact with children are DBS checked.

Our continued growth and success depends on volunteer parents, guardians and carers helping to support the children in any capacity — whether that's helping to run a team or volunteering on Saturday mornings. If you are interested in getting involved, please get in touch.

Recognition

An England Football Accredited Club

Falmouth Community Youth Football Club is an England Football Accredited Club and has been since 2021. We are very proud of this recognition of our commitment to providing the very best in grassroots youth football.

Previously we were awarded the Charter Standard Youth Club Award for five seasons. Accreditation demonstrates that our club offers a place where everyone can enjoy playing football in a safe environment.
