Match Day
Everything visiting teams, players and spectators need to know for a Saturday morning at Falmouth Community Youth FC.
Directions & Parking
Channel 4, Budock & 3G Pitches: From the A39 head straight on at the Asda roundabout, then take the 3rd exit at the next roundabout, passing a “Welcome to Falmouth” sign. Turn left just before the next roundabout through the open metal gates. Budock pitches and parking are right in front of you; Channel 4 is to your left. Continue right down the slope to reach the 3G car park.
There is a traffic barrier next to the 3G, so no through traffic.
Posers (overflow parking): Follow the directions above but continue past the metal gates and head left at the roundabout. Take the first left into the main entrance of Falmouth School on Trescobeas Road and use the main school parking area.
Our Pitches
Home matches are played across our pitches at Falmouth School and Budock. The plan shows each pitch with its what3words location so you can find the right one:
- Channel 4 — grass
- Budock Top & Budock Bottom — grass
- 3G — astroturf
- Posers — grass
Please check with your team official which pitch your match is on.
Facilities & Ground Rules
Toilets: within the Sports Hub adjacent to the 3G pitch.
Spectators: welcome — please stand behind the respect barriers and do not allow siblings to run around the Sports Hub.
Photo consent: please check with opposition coaches that consent has been given before taking photos of children.
Nearest medical facility / defibrillator: Falmouth Hospital, Trescobeas Road, TR11 2JA. At least one team official will be first-aid trained.
Pets: our pitches are within school grounds which operate a strict no-pets policy.
Smoking: not permitted anywhere on site.
Kit & footwear: our matchday colours are black and yellow. Please wear footwear appropriate to the pitch surface.
Respect & Behaviour
Poor behaviour towards match officials — referees, assistant referees, coaches and parent helpers — is not acceptable. We ask all visiting teams and spectators to follow our Respect Code of Conduct (see the Resources section for full details).
Most importantly:
- Stick to the rules and celebrate the spirit of the game.
- Encourage fair play and high standards from players and spectators.
- Always respect the referee and assistant, and encourage players to do the same.
- Never enter the field of play without the referee’s permission.
- Stay behind the respect barrier and leave the coaching to the coaches.
- Never engage in, or tolerate, offensive, insulting or abusive behaviour.
- Be gracious in victory and defeat.
